Missions & Ministry

LEARN ABOUT MISSIONS…
Lake Park has had experience with Intercultural Church Planting through the Indian Asian mission that met here several years ago. That church is now Hope International Church and meets at Broad Street Ministry Center. Jerry Thangiah is the pastor and Frank Londino is the Associate Pastor and it is reaching out to the residents of the neighborhood around the center.

Why do we need Church Planters and Intercultural Missions in Georgia? Because more than 70 percent of people in Georgia do not claim Jesus as their Savior.

Georgia is not the state it was 40 or 50 years ago. The culture has changed. God has brought people from all over the world to the doorstep of every community, town, and city.  That is why Intercultural Churches are needed.

It has been proven that new churches grow faster and reach more people for Christ than many well-established churches. Statistics show that churches that are 3-5 years old baptize one new member each year for every 7.5 resident members. Churches that are 41 to 50 years old baptize one new member for every 43 resident members. New churches are needed. Church Planters are needed.
